Stress eating can impact us in the long-run physically, by leading to weight gain and can also affect us mentally. Here are some specific dangers of emotional eating.
1. When we are stressed, our mind craves for food with high sugar and fat content. This can easily lead to sugar addiction.
2. Many fast foods contain refined carbohydrates that can make our blood sugar levels fluctuate. This can lead to panic attacks and anxiety.
3. And of course there's weight gain which is an obvious danger of stress eating which tends to be unregulated and unhealthy.
